Stephen Brown
With over 25 years of experience in the events industry, Stephen Brown is a seasoned expert in delegate acquisition and event management. Since joining Alliance two years ago, Stephen has worked with high-profile clients such as Fastmarkets, Newsweek, S&P Global, and Asian Private Banker. His extensive history with Fastmarkets, dating back to 2005, has made him a trusted partner for their events, bringing unparalleled expertise and insight to every project.
Stephen is also known internally as the go-to person for all things KPI, reporting…and Excel, ensuring the team operates with precision and efficiency. His dedication and contributions were recognized in 2024 when he was awarded the title of "Best Newcomer."
Based in Hong Kong, Stephen enjoys an active lifestyle outside of work. A passionate long-distance runner, he completed his first marathon in 2021 and is contemplating another before he decides he’s “too old.” On weekends, you’ll often find him hiking Hong Kong’s scenic trails with his wife and their dog or relaxing on the beach with a good book. Stephen also channels his creativity into drawing, filling his scrapbook with wildlife sketches and portraits.
Looking ahead, Stephen is excited to welcome family to Hong Kong in 2026 for their first experience of the iconic Hong Kong Rugby 7’s tournament. Reflecting on his time at Alliance, he fondly recalls the camaraderie of the summer parties and the opportunity to connect with colleagues beyond Teams calls.
Stephen describes his colleagues as a hardworking and diligent team, united by a shared goal of delivering exceptional service to clients. He holds the Leadership Team, CEO, and Chairman in high regard, having worked with them for over 20 years. In his words, the entire team is made up of “good eggs.”
