In her five and a half years at Alliance, Olivia Mills has become the operational and cultural backbone of the company in her dual role as HR Manager and Office Manager. While she doesn't work with external clients, she views the entire business as her client, providing essential support to leadership, managers, and staff across all departments. Olivia is dedicated to aligning HR processes and office operations with strategic business goals, ensuring the organisation runs smoothly and efficiently.

 

Olivia is passionate about cultivating a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture, with a strong focus on employee engagement, wellbeing, and development. Known for being an approachable and solutions-focused leader, she brings a sense of calm to a busy environment. Her commitment to professional growth is demonstrated by her recent completion of the Level 5 CIPD in People Management, which has equipped her with advanced skills to drive business success through effective people strategies.

 

She describes her colleagues as supportive, collaborative, and genuinely fun, noting that it is a team that truly lifts each other up. Her favourite memories include being part of Alliance's 10-year anniversary celebration and hiring sumo costumes for a memorable summer fun day, reflecting her commitment to building a strong and connected team.

 

Based in Tunbridge Wells, Olivia’s life outside of work is filled with family adventures with her two energetic boys. She is currently navigating home renovations but also makes time to discover new restaurants, read, and catch up with friends.
